The inner elastic band is the most comfortable fit you'll both ever wear and what GB is known for!

Featuring a molded crown and tightly woven pressed palm to provide the most SPF protection for both of you, it's embellished with an exclusive crystal trim.

- 4" brim 

- Hat is one size fits all and the band on the inside is stretchy. If you think you’ll want a tighter fit or have a smaller head, we can attach a piece of removable foam inside to reduce the size.

HAND WOVEN STRAWS

Every straw hat starts out in the hands of a skilled weaver. Depending on the complexity of the pattern, a single hat body can take anywhere from 15 days to complete. Vented crowns with complex patterns take the longest to weave but have the added benfit of letting air flow through the crown to help you keep cool in the mid-day sun.

From start to finish, our signature hats are made by hand, using only the finest materials and time-tested techniques, often utilizing the same machinery we’ve been using for decades. The result? The world’s most legendary hats, designed for the long haul and crafted to be passed on from one generation to the next.

FINISHING A TEXAS-HAT

After going through 4 rounds of lacquering and shaping, each straw hat goes to the trim department to be finished. A leather or Drilex® self-conforming sweatband is sewn into the hat and a ribbon or leather band is affixed to the outside crown. Drilex® is an especially popular choice of cowboys far and wide as its patented cloth wicks away sweat to help keep you comfortable outside in the heat.

OUT THE DOOR & READY TO WEAR

The last stop before a Texas-hat gets to you or a retailer, is at final inspect. Inspected from top to bottom we check to make sure that every Texas-hatcan live up to the name, because we live it everyday!
